Learn More About Missions
Your District Mission Gifts at Work
Each month, a focus is given to one of our district missions. For the month of May, the spotlight is on Camp Omega.
Throughout each year, Camp Omega provides ministry services to nearly 6,000 adults, youth and children. Events like family camps, children’s summer camps, men’s and women’s retreats, family reunions, servant events, older adult ministries, high school and volunteer services provide people from all walks of life, backgrounds and geographic locations a chance to learn more about Jesus in a beautiful, outdoor environment.
Over the years, camp has made available to approximately 1,500 college-age men and women an opportunity to prepare themselves for a life of service, a large percentage of whom choose to do so as professional church workers.
We invite you to pray for Camp Omega in your personal and corporate prayers, that those who lead & serve would be strengthened in their efforts to reach people with the good news of Jesus.
Feel free to use the following media in your congregations as a means for them to see how the Gospel is being shared in our district.
